Teen Computer Workshop- Urban Legends

You just got an e-mail that made you think, “Whoah! I had no idea! I have to forward this to all my friends, right now!” No, don’t do it! It just might be an urban legend. Believe it or not, there’s no lead in your sister’s lipstick, you won’t earn cash just for forwarding a Microsoft or AOL test message, and 13-year-old Ashley Flores never went missing from Philadelphia or anywhere else. Come learn how to check the facts on these fascinating e-mail messages, find out where urban legends get their start, and talk about why they just keep going even when they’re false.
